Located in the south-west corner of Hertfordshire, Rickmansworth is a small, charming town with beautiful surrounding countryside, and just a short drive from the M25. Situated between the ridge of the Chiltern Hills and a marshy mere surrounded by the rivers - Colne, Chess and Gade.

Gradually, many businesses established themselves, some using the newly constructed waterway (Salter's Brewery), others establishing themselves on the High Street. The rich heritage and tradition can still be found on the high street today where you can now find major high street superstores such as Tescos, Marks & Spencers and Waitrose.

Rickmansworth offers an excellent range of places to eat and drink with plenty of restaurants, bistro’s, coffee shops and a large selection of pubs and Inns.

Between Rickmansworth and Watford the village of Croxley Green can be found. With it’s own station, attractive common and plenty of public houses the area is a popular choice. Whilst heading towards Denham, the Chalfont villages and junction 17 of the M25 the Maple Cross village offers great value for money. Chorleywood village is not too far either and offers a superb opportunity to enjoy village life with the benefit of its own station, shopping parade and easy access to the M25.
