Parkheath has ten offices in prime North West London, Hertfordshire and Middlesex offering specialist, letting, management and sales services. All of our offices are market leaders and operate successfully in the middle and upper end of their respective markets.
Established in South Hampstead in 1984 by Malcolm Terry, over the next 18 he opened two further offices in West Hampstead and Belsize Park. Malcolm realized that the only way to grow further without loosing the entrepreneurial spirit and hands on approach of the company was through franchising the business. In 2002 the first franchised office was opened in Rickmansworth and since then a further seven have been added. Over the last 6 years our franchise model has been perfected enabling new offices to hit the ground running.
Each of our offices thinks and acts robustly and independently. All of our franchisees own 100% of their business but have the backing of the Parkheath brand behind them. This is our philosophy. All my experience in estate agency and in particular in the City through the era of 'Big Bang' shows that the market is constantly changing.
We are widely recognised as innovators in identifying and reacting to trends and legislation before many of our competitors. At the end of October 2007, we started to see the sales market changing and since that time we have remodeled our franchise offering to reflect the current state of the market. As a result the property lettings business is booming and our franchisees are consistently hitting their revenue targets.
With more and more people coming into the lettings business for the first time because they have been unable to sell their property due to the credit crunch, I believe it is even more relevant and important that they are able to receive expert advice from our specialist lettings teams.
This is our flexible approach. Even in the current market, our offices not only continue to sell properties, but to outperform other agents in their areas. ‘We believe our success is and will be underpinned by two things - our experience and the entrepreneurial spirit of our staff and associates across the group.
