How do I become a Parkheath Franchisee?

The seven steps to becoming a valued member of the Parkheath family.

Stage One

  • Contact Steven on 020 7433 6110 or email alternatively you can fill in the form on the website and request a call back.
  • Have an informal fact finding conversation and if we both like what we hear, at the end of the conversation we will send you a copy of our prospectus and application form

Stage Two

  • Arrange a visit to our Head Office. Please allow up to 4 hours for your visit.
  • Complete your application form and return it to Steven (ideally before you visit, but if that is not possible please bring it with you on the day)
  • There are no obligations on either side; however we will need to sign a confidentiality agreement before we begin.
  • At the meeting really find out about us and our proposition and we will find out more about you. (We will discuss territories, why you should choose Parkheath and how you will make your money).
  • If we are both still interested in progressing further we will give you our comprehensive research pack which will help you to potentially assess the markets in your chosen area.
  • We will also give you our business plan template to complete.

Stage Three

  • Prospective franchisee undertakes detailed research of their chosen area
  • We will undertake our own research of your chosen area to confirm its viability
  • We will need to meet with you again to analyse our results together.
  • If both parties are happy a verbal offer is made and a non refundable deposit of £2000 plus VAT is taken
  • We will then write to you confirming the details of your offer (this will include outline details of your induction training and launch dates).
  • We will assist you further by helping you source and secure suitable premises and offer assistance negotiating the lease.

Stage Four

  • We will prepare an agreement that will be sent to your solicitor.
  • Once premises have been found a further £2000 plus VAT becomes due
  • At this stage you will be given our Start Up manual which clearly outlines the process and equipment needed for your office
  • The balance of £5500 plus VAT is payable on the signing of the franchiser agreement

Stage Five

  • We will assist you by helping you source and order
    • Signage and branded material
    • Office furniture and equipment
    • Your I.T. equipment and telecoms
  • We will also order your starter stationery pack

Stage Six

  • Our induction programme will begin at a mutually convenient location for both parties.
  • Training lasts for between 2-5 days dependant on your levels of agency experience.
  • We will work with you to organise a marketing campaign prior to launch
  • We will assist you with ideas for putting together your launch party.

Stage Seven

  • Launch would normally take place a maximum of 4 weeks after your induction training
