Travelling in and around Hendon
Hendon offers very good transport links to Central London and beyond London. The commuter has the choice between Hendon Mainline Station, Hendon Central Northern Line Tube Station, a variety of buses, and the M1 and the North Circular (A406) for the driver. Hendon is also one of a few areas in London that borders two transport zones: zone 3 and zone 4.
Train
Thameslink (overground): This offers a very good connection going to Moorgate via King’s Cross, or travelling north to Luton. Approx. 25mins from Hendon to King’s Cross and 40mins from Hendon to Luton.
Tube
Northern Line Tube (zone 3 & 4): Links North London (Edgware) to South London (Morden). It takes approx. 20mins from Hendon to King’s Cross, 8mins to Edgware, and 1hr to Morden.

Bus
Numerous bus routes are on offer throughout Hendon, which also includes many night buses. The main routes are:
- 113 – Edgware to Oxford Circus via Mill Hill & Baker Street.
- 143 – Archway to Brent Cross via Finchley.
- 326 – Barnet to Brent Cross via Whetstone & Woodside Park.
- C11 – Brent Cross to Archway via North Cricklewood & Hampstead.
Night Buses:
- 83 – Ealing Hospital to Golders Green via Wembley & Kingsbury.
- 189 – Brent Cross to Oxford Circus via Cricklewood, Kilburn & Baker Street.
- 266 – Brent Cross to Hammersmith via Willesden & Acton
- N5 – Edgware to Trafalgar Square via Hampstead & Euston
